Respected energy expert Kelly Ogle has been appointed as the new Board Chair of Emissions Reduction Alberta (ERA) by the Government of Alberta. His two-year term is effective November 1, 2023.
Ogle is a serial entrepreneur, scholar, and published author. He is currently the Chief Executive Officer of the Canadian Global Affairs Institute, Co-Managing Director of Connacher Oil and Gas Ltd., and an advisor for Grafton Asset Management.
Ogle has served as a board member for several organizations, public, private, and not-for-profit. He was recently appointed to the Calgary Police Commission (CPC). He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Saskatchewan, a Master of Strategic Studies from the University of Calgary, and holds the ICD.D designation from the Institute of Canadian Directors.

These projects are estimated to deliver cumulative GHG reductions of 40 million tonnes by 2030 and 110 million tonnes by 2050.
